15 Hudson Yards is an 88-storey residential tower with a height of 278.6 m (914 ft), actually it is the first residential tower to open at Hudson Yards. The building is designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group. The elegant silhouette has a distinctive shape defined by gradual curves that form four graceful arcs of glass.
15 Hudson Yards offers five distinct residence types, ranging from one-bedroom layouts to duplex penthouses. There will be a total of 285 apartments with prices ranging from $2 million – $14 million. The building will connect directly with The Shed, New York’s forthcoming center for artistic invention. The project is situated alongside the High Line.
Hudson Yards is being developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group.
Construction started in 2016 and the project is expected to be completed in 2018. Tutor Perini was awarded contracts worth $1.2 billion for the construction of 15 Hudson Yards and The Shops & Restaurants retail complex at the Hudson Yards development.
