Yoma Central

Yoma Central in Yangon will include office towers, serviced apartments, retail space and two hotels of which one will be the Peninsula Yangon hotel. This hotel will be located inside the old Burma Railways headquarters which will be restored. The project will cost about US$700 million and be the largest foreign investment in Myanmar’s real estate sector. Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation has teamed up with Yoma Strategic Holdings to develop this project. The investors include Yoma Strategic, Mitsubishi Corporation, FMI (First Myanmar Investment Co.), International Finance Corporation and Asian Development Bank.
