A look into Pattaya’s future. A famous song goes like this:
Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future is not ours to see
Que sera, sera
So we can’t tell the future, is that right? No, this is not entirely true. You see, real estate is a long term business. Mega projects due to be completed around 2020 will be launched in 2016.
What I am trying to say is that we can actually at present time predict that Na Jomtien is going to become a new city center. It will end up as a hot spot in real estate.
Today we have learned that CP and Greenland Group have purchased a large plot of land next to Ambassador Hotel, directly opposite Mimosa. All credit goes to Louix Van den Bergh for this piece of information.
This is an absolutely wonderful plot of land, probably one of the very best locations imaginable. This will be CP & Greenland Group’s second mega-project in Na Jomtien. Their first project has yet to be launched, some time in 2016 for this to take place would be an educated guess.
However, the exact time of launch is not important. What is important is that CP and Greenland Group have sent an unmistakable and very strong signal that they believe in Na Jomtien.
Despite the current sad status of the local real estate affairs the future for Na Jomtien has to be viewed as very bright. Big investors have the power to induce a snowball effect that will change the whole region. There is no doubt CP and Greenland Group belong to this category.
We have just seen a glimpse of the future and it certainly looks bright. It is more than just an educated guess. We are watching the big players make their move.
Of course newpattaya.com is first with an analysis of the situation. The ball is rolling, it can be slowed down temporarily but not stopped. Once all the bets have been placed there is no pulling out.
