I have fallen totally in love with Bang Saray (บางเสร่). Bang Saray is an undiscovered gem. You don’t need to be a self proclaimed expert or an extraordinarily clever individual to understand that Bang Saray necessarily will experience a property boom in the near future. The opening of the two huge water parks in Bang Saray in 2013 – Ramayana Water Park that will be the largest in south-east asia and Cartoon Network Amazone – will definitely have an impact in and around Bang Saray.
Bang Saray is located 18 km from Pattaya near Nong Nooch Garden and I predict that rapid changes of an unseen scale will take place. It is a logical consequence of the strong growth in visitors and tourists coming to this specific region from Bangkok and from all over the world. The increasing number of tourists that come to spend time in either of the two water parks will need accommodation so Kobi and Rony must wake up and build some 4-star hotels in Bang Saray. If they don’t do it other developers will.
I may not be perfect or as smart as I think but I can smell the coming property boom in Bang Saray. Unfortunately people in general invest in property in Pattaya, not because they like the place or wish to live there but because they believe the property prices will go up in the future. They are right, of course the property prices will go up, of that there is no doubt.
You should invest in Bang Saray simply because it is such a lovely and idyllic place. It is much more beautiful than Pattaya or Jomtien or Na Jomtien. I was there on thursday september 20th and I had the whole beach all to myself. The beach is really nice, it reminds me of the beaches you will find on some islands. It looks like even the russians have not yet discovered this hidden paradise.
There are just two 7-eleven shops. You will find several sea food restaurants down by the pier. I did not see any of the bars, ladyboys, massage parlours or night clubs that you will find on almost every street in Pattaya. This is a city with normal people, a city very different from Pattaya and Jomtien. As in most thai cities you will also find a nice temple. What I really like is the wonderful public park with tall trees and a nice see view. There is also a great play park for children.
I have to admit I feel at home there. Bang Saray is a great place for families. But I do miss the Tesco Lotus and Big C shopping complexes we have in Pattaya.
Developer A.D Condominium is present in Bang Saray with a huge condominium complex. I am sure they understand what I am talking about. Sirisa Group is active with the 6 or 7-storey Le Beach Condo with prices from 1.3 MB and Le Beach Village with prices from 6.9 MB. Talay Sawan is a beautiful luxurious villa development with prices from 10 MB. There is also the Baan Bang Saray Condominium development with prices from 789.000 Baht. Porchland Group is developing a 32-storey high-rise called Del Mare Condo in Bang Saray, it will be the very first high-rise in the area.
