52 Lime Street

52 Lime Street, also known as The Scalpel, is a 35-storey office tower with a height of 190m (630 ft). This will be a new presence on one of the most distinguished and dynamic skylines in the world. The Scalpel’s public spaces are an important part of its make-up. This includes a new public square at the base of the building. The developer is the W.R. Berkley Corporation. The development has an internal floor area of 58,000 sqm.

The main contractor is Skanska. Construction started in 2015 and the project is scheduled for completion in 2017. Having built both Heron Tower and The Gherkin, Skanska can now boast an impressive portfolio of City towers in London.
