Siamese Surawong is a 20-storey condominium located on Sap Road close to Surawong Road in the heart of Bangkok. Surawong (สุรวงศ์) is a historic area in downtown Bangkok but most foreigners probably know the nearby Silom Road somewhat better.
Siamese Surawong is a 1.7 Billion Baht project. The 1.5 rai plot of land opposite the Russian Embassy was purchased for 250 Million Baht.
Siamese Surawong is designed by the renowned American architect, Robert G Boughey.
The developer is the property firm Siamese Asset, an affiliate of Ritta Group. Ritta Group expanded into property development after recognising that it is more profitable than the contracting business.
The building has 4 underground floors for parking, there is space for 140 cars. There is a total of 206 units. On the ground floor there will even be townhouses as part of the main building, that is very unusual. The units are available at prices around 100.000 baht per square metre. The smallest units has a size of 34 sqm, there is only a small number of these small units, this means the starting price is 3.39 MB which is reasonable given the central location.
The amenities include a swimming pool, a fitness, a lobby and a garden.
Other projects by the developer include Siamese Gioia, Siamese Thirty Nine, Siamese Nang Linchee, Siamese Ratchakru on Pahonyothin Road with 340 units, Siamese Queens located at MRT Queen Sirikit Station and a 2 Billion Baht townhouse project, Siamese Blossom, located on Ramintra Road.
